Estates often contain meaningful material in ordinary-looking places: shelves, drawers, workbenches, closets, files, display cabinets, and boxes that have not been opened in years.
You do not need to sort the property into “toys,” “coins,” “tools,” “books,” or “advertising” before making contact. Broad photographs can help us spot categories that deserve a closer look and prevent important supporting material from being discarded.
